A great place to stay in downtown Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on a city park, with lots to do in the area!
The Community Center sits in the rear and has billiards, basketball, weight room, shuffle board, ping pong, and more. The river is 5 or 6 blocks East and has a walking/biking trail. Walk to eateries, casino, race track, tennis courts, football, shopping, coffee shops, etc.
The Creation museum is only a 10 minute drive. The Ark is an additional 30 minutes South. This place is special because it is in the heart.

The space
Cozy, not fancy. The basement of this Downtown, Lawrenceburg Park Side house is a separate apartment w/ a private & fenced yard, entrance, bath, & fully equipped kitchenette. There are steps to navigate inside, & up to the spacious bathroom. It sleeps 2 comfortably, but can sleep 4 w/ the pull out sofa. This is a fun and quiet sleep over while touring the area such as the Ark, The Creation Museum, Perfect North Slopes, or Hollywood Casino. The city pool is just across the park, a 5 min. walk. In the winter, we provide a radiant fireplace to help warm things up. cheers!
Guest access
Access to the basement apartment is via a private gate at the corner of the yard. There is a door with about a half dozen steps to get in. The entire basement is yours during the stay. In the rear of the basement is a laundry that is shared between upstairs and downstairs units. Both are protected by locking doors to the respective apartments.
Other things to note
It is cooler in the basement than upstairs in a seperate apartment, so please dress accordingly. We do not allow opening of doors and windows to control the temperature that is controlled from a single thermostat in the house above. Bring some warmer lounging clothes.
