Perfect North Skiing Chalet w/ firepit
Description
Our Perfect North Skiing Chalet rental sits atop a ridge overlooking a major scenic highway, West of Aurora.
Its within a mile from the town of Aurora, but with a solitary country feel, surrounded by nature. Super cute cape cod will make you feel at home.
The driveway is a challenge and has always been. It’s like driving to hilltop cabins in the mountains. There is limited turn around space. So if you are not a confident driver, you may want to stay on more level ground.
Once there, it’s so peaceful. Its home.

The space
Recently remodeled…flooring in kitchen, and flooring and pellet stove addition in living room. Just a little house…about 900 sq. ft. It has 2 bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, living room and bath. There is a loft area, suitable for shorter ones, but it tends to be warmer up there. We put 2 twin floor mattresses up there for kiddos.
Outdoors there is a yard and firepit. One can build a SMALL fire, but you might have to gather your own firewood. Guests must first check the weather to ensure there will not be winds, must never leave fire or embers unattended, and will accept full responsibility for any damages resulting from a fire.
New. Just added a pellet stove to the living room. Beautiful winter addition.
Guest access
The guests may utilize the entire property. It is 0.70 Acres, and the mowed yard marks the boundaries.
Other things to note
Bring firewood if you want to use the pit (some is kept in the shed). Chairs are also a plus. Just be responsible and do not leave fires or embers unattended. We are working on obtaining more outdoor amenities…we just are not yet there.
Conserve and keep doors closed when the central air is in use. Or turn it off, if you want to open the windows and feel the nice breezes. Also, turn off lights and appliances when you are away. Thanks in advance for that.
We just added a pellet stove to the house to keep the heating bills down. It makes for a nice evening with the view of a fire.
Our sewer is a septic, so we prefer as much paper go into the trash as possible. Please flush NOTHING that might plug up our septic.
